Zinc with Vitamin D3 and K2 - Maxlife Naturals
Support your immunity with these 3 key nutrients
Zinc is a key mineral involved in upwards of 200 processes within the body, including producing hormones and enzymes, regulating immune health and much more.
Zinc is essential for activation of T-lymphocytes, a white blood cell involved in our immune response. Beyond that, it supports healthy blood sugar levels, thus leading to more stable energy and reduces the incidence of cardiovascular disease. Zinc has antioxidant properties and promotes the health of both the eyes and connective tissue.
Zinc Picolinate is said to be one of the most bioavailable forms of Zinc.
Many of us are aware of the need for Vitamin D. Healthy levels of Vitamin D are needed to support mood, a healthy immune system and bone health.
Vitamin D is produced when we're exposed to UVB rays from the sun. At certain times of the day, during winter and in some climates, UVB isn't in high supply and may be totally absent. Those of us who get plenty of sunshine (at the appropriate times) are less likely to need Vitamin D supplementation. Though, for the majority of the population, Vitamin D levels are suboptimal and supplementation can assist.
Vitamin K2, like Vitamin D3, is a fat soluble vitamin and supports the health of the cardiovascular system and our bones.
When taken by itself, Vitamin D can lead to high levels of blood calcium. This is where Vitamin K2 comes in, as the balance to Vitamin D, pulling calcium out of the blood and into the bones.
